We contracted Mixed Signal Systems to work with us in expanding our semi-automated, quad-site IC test system into a 24-site test system. Kieran very well understood our requirements and gave a lot of input in the project which allowed us to expand the solution into a scalable system that can go up to 64 sites.
Kieran was very hands-on in every area of the project, particularly on the hardware design, component selection that would work over the operating temperature range, and a mechanically robust system that allows ease of operations and maintenance of the system.
Mixed Signal Systems also delivered the software library that drives the system and was easily integrated into our main software framework. The hardware worked first time, so we were very pleased with that. We’re also happy that our throughput has increased dramatically using this new system.
